Our Thanksgiving Traditions

We are so very lucky to have Hubby’s brother, the undeniably the best cook/chef in the family, to host the annual Thanksgiving feast.  This only means one thing people:  we always inadvertently consume way too much yummy food and over-stuff ourselves by the end of the feast, no matter what we may have told ourselves in advance that THIS year, we would be sure to act responsibly and not overeat.  😂

Yeah, right.  That notion pretty much went out of the window AS SOON AS we arrived.  There was a full spread of a variety of cheese and crackers as hors d’oeuvres to choose from, while we watched the Thanksgiving day football game.  And for the first time in a very long time, all of us were able to sit together in one table for the feast (instead of a separate kiddie table).  While we certainly missed those family members who couldn’t make it this year, it was just really pleasant and low-key with great conversations.  I think I cay honestly say that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  And seriously, with all the delicious food, football, and family time, what’s not to like?!  😋
