Withdrawal from Travel Planning

Yes, I am one of those people who actually enjoys travel planning!  I love the process of researching and reading up on potential destinations, finding things to do in each place, and then putting it all together to a loose daily itinerary.  Though the downside of this is that I can get easily sucked into endless hours of reading on the internet however (information overflow).

With that said, it has been many many months since our last trip, and so far in 2017 we only have travel plans for the upcoming spring break and the first half of the summer.  For spring break we will be going to visit Mall of America in Minneapolis.  Not exactly my idea of spring break destination, but it is per kids’ request.  And this summer I will be taking the kids to visit family in Taiwan for about a month.  Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that these trips are underwhelming (well, maybe it is in the case of Mall o America).  But they don’t exactly require much planning other than securing plan tickets or lodging.  Therefore, I think I am going through a bout of withdrawal from travel planning lately.  I even find myself starting to fantasize about a trip in summer 2018 that may not even happen.  😂😂😂

Guess I will just let my mind wander for now by getting lost in the world of travel blogs…
